March 18th - Kodachrome A Day

Ok, here's the deal.
David and I have been talking about this.
So it starts today for me.
I've got the Kodachrome 64 loaded and the new battery installed.
I'm shooting a "Kodachrome-A-Day."
It's a sort of mini PAD that will last for as long as my two 36 exp. rolls of Kodachrome last.
I'll take at least a shot a day, maybe more.
I'm also limiting myself to my 28mm lense, no zooms.
When I'm done I'll send my two rolls away for processing and I'll scan and load them up in their own gallery.
It might turn out well, or it might not... I'll have to wait and see!
And this will be going on concurrent with my usual PAD.
(By the way, I'm counting down the last days of my third year.)
So, "Kodachrome-A-Day"...
Any other takers?

Here's my alternate for today:

Canon EOS 300D Digital Rebel
1/60s f/4.5 at 31.0mm iso100 full exif

other sizes: small medium large auto

an enticing shot for film fans everywhere!
and great idea - I might join in if I can find anywhere locally that still sells Kodachrome. Might have a wait for my gallery though. I shot a roll in November 2005 and it took them 'til June 2006 to send the developed trannies to me!

Ooohhh, Kodachrome in a K-1000! I've never shot Kodachrome, but I'm very very tempted to shoot a few rolls before it's gone. I'll have to order me up a few rolls.

I'm very tempted. Not used Kodachrome since 2001. And that was ISO 25 - can't get that anymore. My additional thought is to run it through my Dad's Kodak Retinette just to complete the nostalgia trip. Need to dig out that light meter though...

Excellent shot.

I would almost be into this, but I KNOW I won't do it...

Maybe when it's not so crazy here, cause it's a great plan!! I can't WAIT to see the results!

Looks like they changed the design since my last roll in 1981... and DX coding too! How modern!
