I started out this morning for breakfast at our usual sunday place.
When I got in the car and turned the key, nothing happened.
We took Cathi's car, and when we returned I braved the heat to tinker about under the hood (the bonnet for you Brits...)
After much futzing and cleaning and futzing, I concluded that I needed a new battery.
I got a jump (boost) from Cathi's Honda and away I went.
After swapping out batteries under a tree in the parking lot of the auto parts dealer, I took a drive east of town.
I braved the heat (100º!) and the bad air to walk up a hill for today's alternate.
