Another day off from work on my long weekend.
I took a drive out this morning to the Kern Canyon for some pictures.
When I got to the mouth of the canyon, the overflow was running from the power plant up the river.
I took this shot there, and then a few others farther up the river.
The water's running high and fast, a product of the wet winter.
In case you ever think about it, don't swim in the Kern. It'll kill you!
