It was a rough day today.
There were some layoffs.
Good people were let go as part of a cost-cutting move.
Good people here and across the country.
I was lucky. I was spared.

That stinks. On one hand you feel bad for your friends and coworkers who were let go, but at the same time glad that it wasn't you...and on the other hand, well, there's a meat cleaver. :-) Good photo, very sharp. :-p

oh no, it's horrible having that sort of uncertainty and demoralising as well. and only a couple of months to go until christmas for all those people who were fired. :-(

ick...sorry to hear of the stressful day. Nice picture though! I love the reflections and the little lines on the blade from sharping.
