Another quiet day at the beach.

The fog kept the morning cool. It stayed until the late morning, then the breezes kicked up and the sunshine came through.

We did some antique shopping downtown after having a nice walk on the beach, followed by a little nap and some vacation reading.

These kind of days, the weather perfect and the breezes cool, the late afternoon sunshine coming in from over the Pacific,
the town quiet but for the occasional passerby, it all takes me back to my childhood growing up in Santa Barbara.
Back then it was a quiet town like this, not the uppity and trendy place it is now.

Too bad it all has to change...
