Fall is almost always late here in the central valley of California. It's the day before Halloween and most of the trees
are still green and leafy. In other parts of the country, indeed the world, winter is snooping about.

This is the creeping fall color on a tree near our house. Most of the leaves are still, green but these few are staring to turn.
