Dust is often an overblown issue. Outside Macro Work, f/22 is double what I ever shoot, in a pinch I'll go f/14 but diffraction becomes and issue after f/11 so I avoid it.
Here's a Dramatic effect brought on by Auto Levels just to make the dust visible.
