When I was a child, part of the process of memorizing pipe tunes was to copy the music - by hand.

I found someone playing this tune on You Tube - must have been quite the party!

Great written image. The music book looks very familiar. My Dad got pipes but never learn to play them. He occasionally practice with the canter (SP?)...My oldest brother got those pipes after my Dad's death and learned to played and even played Amazing Grace at my Mom's funeral.

Great image and cool find on You Tube. I love that you had to copy the music by hand. Really helps you to understand how to read music. Great composition as well!
