Michael, this is a beautiful bird and excellent setting. Your exposure is very nice! The focus looks a bit off, it looks like the vertical branch to the left of the bird is a bit sharper than the bird itself. You might want to check out www.lensalign.com to see their products for calibrating your lens and body. This is something new to me, but I know my lenses are all off just a bit which is why I tend to manually focus whenever possible. I'm looking forward to getting their product and calibrating mine so I can rely more on the autofocus. Just a thought.

Nice cardinal... These are very common in the East, but we do not
see them out here in Washington State (at least not were I live),
much to my diappointment. Thanks for sharing.
