#062 Business Trip

I had to drive from Edinburgh to Newcastle today
on business. I always find it incredible that the Scottish capital
has no motorway link to England, but today I was actually thankful
as I got to drive through mile after mile of incredible snowy scenery.

This photo doesnt do it justice, its just a snap from behind the wheel.

It was quite frustrating not having time to stop and do
some "proper" photos. I must have driven past 1000 great opportunities !

It's even more amazing that there is no continuous motorway connecting Scotland's two major cities!

Hey - get back on the right side of the road! . . . oh yeah - you guys are lefties ;) This image does convey the feeling of the day regardless of the time you spent shooting it. Looks lonely - which is good in conditions like this - too many people on the road and there's bound to be trouble. Cindy

John, this may have been taken from behind the wheel but it's not 'just a snap'. The perspective of the road leading into the distance is excellent and you've captured the snowy conditions very well.
