This is a classic pharmacy in Habana Vieja,
downtown Havana. Here you get your medication
weighed out for you according to whatever the
doctor has prescribed. Yet another eye-opener
and yeah, I was quite glad that I did not
require the services of a local doctor.

I have been informed that in March 2006, this
place burned down as a result of an electical
failure. A piece of history vanished... and it
hurts to realize how fragile time really is...
