Burning the candle at both ends,
we started the day setting up for this 5 a.m. sunrise,
then ended the day at the same beach for the 9:15 p.m. sunset.
It turns out that this scene may be more unique than we thought.
It's not exactly "there" any more.
First shot in June, we returned in early July
to find that the original "tripod spot" was a bit
underwater.
Returning again in August, with the intention of
getting the rising sun in the scene, proved the spot to be about a foot
underwater.
Returning in September to see if it was back to normal,
it was one-to-two feet underwater.
We didn't realize that the lake changed so much in a season.
