We are fortunate that our power was restored Saturday night
after being out for most of the afternoon and part of the evening.
Some of our friends in nearby neighborhoods, got power back yesterday
and some must wait til Nov.1st or even Nov.3rd.
The snow weighed many of the trees branches weighing them down to the ground
causing many branches to snap or fall over. Lots brought live wired on the roads
and power shortages.
We are lucky the snow didn't cause the three pine trees in front of our house to fall.
They have been there for over 100 years old.
As the maple tree just lost branches from the weight.
