IMG_5534 Combining grass seed

Portland Oregon

Oregon is know for growing grass seed as their agriculture products.
Our friend's three children work for grass seed co. in the Summer months.

Here we went to watch the combines in action and hubby got to ride
in one of the combines, that our friend's daughter was driving the JD 9600.
(imagine driving this for over 10 hours daily)

The grass seed is being shipped to China.

A real eye opener. I had never thought that seed would be collected with such a huge machine.
