Ready For Dinner 2 *
by Daniel Bollag and Bottles

A team effort. The image is Daniel's, with a little post processing help from bottles.
Collaborative efforts are really fun and present a certain challenge of their own. We both enjoyed doing this one and we're hoping you'll like it.

Very pretty scene - I like the color version best. Bottles, you did a great job with the colors!

Mike, wow, I'm amazed that you picked up on all the details that you did. I honestly didn't think anyone would notice the warmer coloring of the rocky components. Thanks for your kind words, they're very much appreciated. Thanks Daniel for allowing me the privilege of working with such a beautiful image, it was really a fun time for me.

I really like this version, Daniel. The color cast is gone from the table cloth and seat fabric...much brighter and 'cleaner' now. I also like the warmer coloring of the rocky components here too...the stone wall & the mountain. Lastly, the sky really compliments the whole scene...done just right. Bottles, I think you really improved on a lovely photo. I like this version best. MFC

What an elegant understatement, bottles: no, you did not just offer «a little post processing help» (as you put it), but did—all by yourself—a wonderful job improving my original image (that I’ll leave for others to compare in the Demo-Folder: <http://www.pbase.com/stfchallenge/image/71692403). I’ll also keep the b&w-version in the Exhibition-Gallery to compete with this one in color: <http://www.pbase.com/stfchallenge/image/71660479; I am looking forward to hearing which of the two pleases everyone else more. Again, bottles: many thanks for collaborating with me in this joint transoceanic effort; it’s been a enormous pleasure for me! — db.
