Chick 'n Beer

by Jerry Curtis

Recipe: Drink half the beer, then BBQ your chicken on the half-filled beer can. Mmmmm... delicious!
Note: You might want to have a few more beer than chickens ;-)

I've never heard of or witnessed this method of cooking. Hilarious shot and well-captured. The one bird even looks as if it's gesturing while it's chatting. --Melanie

I have still not tried this despite hearing of it for years. Great shot -- it does look a bit like a social affair ;)

Yes, Colleen's comment is priceless! I laughed out loud at it.
The interesting thing about this shot, too, is that nothing about it was staged.
This is exactly the way the scene was when my bro-in-law raised the BBQ lid.

Oh my goodness Jerry, what a great shot this is! Wonderful entry for this challenge and just so perfectly done! And, I'm still laughing after reading Colleen's comment about the "hot chicks" (good one Colleen) :-)

Jerry, my family had a long discussion on different ways to cook turkey on thanksgiving...my father talked about this way but i didnt think people actually did it. i might have to try that some time. -kara-

What a cookout. Some hot chicks probably discussing moisturizer techniques. Only you, Jerry, could capture the moment. Let me flex my voting muscles since I'm going to need them for this.

Looks painful. I know for a fact though, chicken cooked this way is very good!

Now who said JC has no sense of humor? ;-)

Jerry, I've heard about cooking chicken like this...people around here are raving about it. The chickens 'sitting here' look like they're just having a friendly conversation while they cook. Thanks for the quick recipe tips :) A unique idea, Jerry...well taken. MFC
