I agree, a beautiful and quaint scene, Moti. Nice contrast between wood and walls. The shape and placement of the vine really add a lot to the composition. Nice shot. MFC

As Lonnit says... very quaint. Interesting combination of textures and colors and a well-balanced composition, Moti. I get the impression that this is not the main entrance to the house, though...

Thank you all for your nice comments. Deb, the plant in the middle is a wild vine and it grows all over the wall during the summer. The handles are used to help removing the upper part of the door panel and there is a window behind it.

Very pretty scene - I like the colors, and the matching wood on the door and shutters!

Moti, I think Lonnit used the perfect adjective for this scene. "Quaint" says it all. The lighting shows off the grain of the shutters and door beautifully. Just a couple of questions. Do you know what is growing between the door and window and what are those two handles for on the top half of the door?---Deb

How quaint! Wonderfully seen. Looks like an image for a jigsaw puzzle. :) I bet it would look great too with a bit of painterly effect. Very nice. ~ Lonnit
