I meet these fellas at a boat landing on the Mississippi river in Minnesota.
The air temp was 15 degrees f. They got new kayaks for the holidays and wanted to try them out.

Nice catch of both pairings, Dave -- the kayaks and the paddles -- and perfect colours. I know kayaks tend to run with alarmingly little freeboard, but at 15° F I'm still glad it was them and not me risking the dunking! - Mike
