Ann, you're no fun! You got it. This is a gold ore scoop in a mine near Silverton, CO. The mine turned out to be salted (a little gold put down to make investors think a rich vein was present), fooling everyone, including the head engineer who designed this scoop -- and who gave us the mine tour.
