Looks life previous commentes said - a pipe out of an old water tank. But here is a guess that is way out there for your entertainment. A gun implacement left over from WWII? CindyD

How about the water-spout on a water tower? For filling steam locomotives maybe? (I'd guess that angling up part there swings left and down over the open end of the horizontal pipe.) -- W R Somsky

So... we (husband Arvin and I) are going for either a irrigation pipe that folds down when in use (him) or an old cement mixer delivery pipe that does the same thing (me). Ann C.
