This is Yoshimoto-san, who lives on Hamahiga Island, adjacent to Okinawa's main island. We ran into her at the Okinawa Memorial Day peace ceremony; my husband had met her before, but I never had. She was delightful, hugging and kissing me, a total stranger. After she and her son left, I realized I should have taken a picture of her. Someone from the consulate called her son, and they came all the way back to where we were so I could have a photo. She invited us out to her home, reportedly a wonderful traditional Okinawan house, but we simply didn't have time before we left -- one regret I have about leaving Okinawa.
