And even in it, the volute area of casting flow merge is cracking.

I can not really stop this from occurring; nor can I prevent it from occurring. BUT, I can do things to prevent severe heat stress: improve the flow; reduce the backpressure; and let the heat get out.

If I am lucky, the cracking will progress much more slowly. Time will tell.
