Hello. The Volvo related galleries are mine.

I'm just a mechanic***. My galleries are intended to inform those that are interested in Volvos as I am. Hopefully, in spite of my rudimentary camera skills, they do.

The galleries of places, people and critters are my Wife's. She has all the fun. Well....most of it.

We both are working to improve our photographic skills, and the fun factor. In one respect I have it easier: I mostly take pictures of inanimate objects, which cooperate without complaint or critical comment afterwards.

Even so, learning about lighting, perspective, focus, and presentation has been a challenge. It is fun to learn.

While we both enjoy hearing from visitors to our galleries, it has become necessary to implement some restrictions:

***what I am and do is called by many just being a 'mechanic'. Actually, I am a theoretical physicist and diagnostician. Because in order to be able to figure out something and fix it, understanding the theory of operation behind it.....how it is supposed to work and why that is, is very important when it comes time to figure out why the thing isn't working, can't work, or won't work.
