The means by which the substantially sized squirters can be mounted in the tight confines inside the block is the angled machined bases in the block.
The angling allows for the clearance from the rotating parts; and puts the tap in behind the main gallery feed. The humps on the outside of the block give the needed support for the squirter bolts.
