Feb. 1, 2005 - Sweetwaters Cafe

Ann Arbor, Mich.

I stopped for a cup of coffee after work and there was this wonderful ray of light playing on this
woman from the window ... I just had to shoot it. My problem when I got home was deciding which
image to post as my PAD. Here's two other shots:

The light on the faces brings them out from the shadow which can be overpowering when the sunlight is so intense. Very nice shot.

I agree... I think you picked the right one. Great mood to the shot.

These are terrific candid shots. Very much give the viewer the feeling of being there. And it looks like a nice place to be!

I like the light and the intent focus.

I agree with Jude.. like a spot light, really draws your attention. Great exposure on this given the varied lighting.

I like how the light is bright on her legs and hand, yet shines a subtle light on her downcast face. Also like how you've caught the man in the background on his laptop.. Nicely done

Ah, you chose the right one here, Steve. Who couldn't resist the light shining on her beautiful face? You do so well with these, getting the exposure right too.
