A great "Caught in the Moment" shot. I've decided to buy a little remote to help me on such shots.
Here's to a great new year full of coffee and pictures.

I simply love it, a lot of atmosphere!

Great image, Steve .... you are so good at these cafe photos ... you capture a 'slice of life' ...

I wasn't spying on him, I was simply recording the reality of the moment. I think he was more like
a University of Michigan professor (certainly dressed the part). I suppose one of these days I am
going to get confronted, but I really love doing the cafe shots. It's not like I have a tiny camera hidden
inside a book. Hell, I drag out that big Canon SLR and plop it right in front of me ... and then when they're not looking ...

"It was a dark and stormy night ..." I think he's working on his blockbuster novel. I agree with Jude, all that coffee and cafes ... it's too much. Or maybe I'm jealous.

Excellent photo, Steve.. I like the eavesdropping look of it..
I think you need to face your addiction to coffee though, Steve.. You have quite a few coffee houses that you "like" a litttttttle too much... :D

Is he your local novelist? Did he punch you out when he found you spying on him?

I love coffeehouses that offer wireless. It's a great substitute for the grad school days spent there with textbooks.
