The 5D Cat

Long Beach, CA view map

It is official. I now have a EOS 5D and I can only take cat pictures. I liked how the Siamese cat was partially hiding between two bronzed pots (the other is just to the right). She/he stood carefully watching as I slowly took its picture. I have seen this cat many times on my walks with Trixie and it is very nervous and scares easily.

Shot is ISO 1600 pushed +.7 stops.

other sizes: small medium large original auto

You should print this and send it to Anne Marie.

Hard to believe you pushed it that much. Even at 35 Kb's there's no discernable noise when I blew it up. Great shot and composition. Really nice balance.

The blend of forms, the size and shape of interrelated textures, makes for a subtle expressive beauty.
