This is one of three images shot from the top of a bridge while in Northern California. It attempts to capitalize on a "warm-cold" (something else that I learned on the trip:-) effect and the "V" in the running water to join them. The cold of the water in shadow is countered by the warmth of the early morning sun on the hillside lighting the trees.
