19_Jan_10 The Tunnels

Aberdeen

Bark to the dark side of Aberdeen,
The Tunnels, where the underworld lurk
deep in the bowels of Union St.
From Thursday night to Sunday it's the
hangout for clubbers and music lovers,
a bit quieter on this day though...

This is fantastic. I love the strong contrast and glaring lights - harsh, but perfect for the subject at hand!! BV

It looks downright dangerous here. If it's not, congratulations for the ambience!

Interesting perspective and great details. The puddle in the foreground is a nice touch. Very nice sharpness throughout at f/2.8.

Lovely - this reminds me of the tunnel under London's Charing Cross station.

Great looking shot, but I'm with the others on the safety issue at "Where to go when your completely lacking in correct social skills "
Barbara Heide19-Jan-2010 22:09

I'd like a bodyguard who's packin' in this tunnel! Too scary!
But - this image is AWESOME!!!! V.

What a shot, looks a very dodgy place to take your Nikon
Doug Cruden19-Jan-2010 21:23
Fabulous! I continue to be amazed at your skill - f/2.8 at 31mm and yet apart from the very bottom and corners of the frame, everything is sharp and in focus!! How do you do it?? Actually, I don't care!! I could look at this for ages - it's just gallus street photography....V+
