The Canon 1D is a 4MP camera. It was the first of Canon's 1-series pro digital cameras.
The resolution of this camera never fails to amaze me.
This picture easily prints to 11" X 17" with no loss of detail or sharpness.
Among standard DSLRs, I believe the 1D still holds the record for actual pixel size: 11 microns.
