I know it has been a while since I have posted a photograph. I'll cheat a little today. Here is a photograph of a Browning Superposed Waterfowl Pintail 1982 Issue I took at work yesterday. Life is good. I get to photograph spectacular guns like this all day long.

I may take heat for this but low maintenance is what I would call Wanda...hope she lets this one slide ... today is our 27th anniversary.

We're headed out of town for a couple of weeks. I'm not sure what my internet service will be like. For sure there will be lots of photographs. Check back often.

It's a beautiful expensive firearm, but I'd much rather see something more low maintenance.....like Wanda! lol

Fitz, you're close enough if you want to see how this is done just stop by the Gun Library. The quick a dirty is one soft box behind the gun, another strobe with a grid to my left and three reflectors. The hard part of this is making the engraving show. The shading in the engraving is really shadows. All the metal is the same gray polished steel. If you light it to directly it is like taking pictures of a mirror and the engraving just washes out. Lighting is really about getting the shadows where you want them.

Hey the camera is the one Cabela's provides for me to shoot with. It takes a decent picture but the buttons and dials are all in the wrong places ... someday I'll convince them to upgrade to Canon...lol.
