Each evening a little after sundown a pair of eagles would fly in to a dead elk that was in the Madison River. We spent hours watching and waiting for them on three different evenings. I have no idea how many thousands of photos were taken of the eagles; but, I could tell from the shutter clicks it has to be a huge number. It sounded like some sort of major press conference when the eagles flew in.
