Picking Elderberries 09_29_05.jpg

After we saw Steve and Sally off this morning we spent some time picking elderberries. Every Fall Wanda and I make and bottle enough elderberry jam to last us a year.

Yep Sally, I got enough for Jam! Brandy and I managed to do it all by ourselves too! Bill had to work and if I didn't get the berries into jars soon, they would have formented. Wait. .. Elderberry wine! That's what I should be making! (grin)

Shane, We did stay at Sherwood Hills with the Pattersons. It really is a great place for a quick get away.

Yummy .... Elderberry jam, love it.

Did ya all stay up at Sherwood Hills? I was up there last Saturday and Sunday doing family portraits, its beautiful up there this time of year.
