Wanda03_29_05.jpg

Wanda has wanted to do this picture for about a week. It is kind of festive and fun. We're ready for a party and tomorrow we're going to be celebrating the completion of our year long project "A Picture a Day of Wanda".

We have one more image and we're done with the original commitment we made to ourselves. I had two images planned, one if the weather was good and one if the weather gods weren't with us. Well it is snowing hard; so, I guess we're inside for our final photo. The outside image will have to wait until conditions are more favorable.

this image didn't turn out the way I had hoped it would. The balloons wouldn't cooperate and all I ended up with was straight hair filled with static because the stupid things kept bouncing around and rubbing on Me every time I tried to get nestled into the middle of them. Then they wouldn't stay arranged the way I wanted them. No matter what I did, they always seemed to migrate such that two of the same color were bunched up together. I wanted it to look more festive but I am afraid the fact that I was just so glad to be nearing the end of the project the only expression I could muster was "hurry up and lets get this over with!" P.S. I like the umbrella reflections in the red balloon.

We started at about the same time, I've finished my year a few weeks ago.
I've made some new, relaxed rules for year two.
I hope you two continue in some way, you have almost become "family" to me
along with a few dozen other Pad'ers.
Thanks for the memories, and I hope to see more of your work.
Regards, Ken (zimmek)

I guess we can only hope that Wanda steps in front of the camera once in awhile after tomorrow. The two of you are a winning team.

nice festive look as your year comes to a close. Bitter sweet thoughts about tommorows image as it will signal an end to the year. I have only been on pbase for a couple of months and your two are an inspiration.

I'm certainly going to miss this series. You two are such a loving, skilled pair...the photo-a-day has been very benefical to my education AND my daily outlook. Thanks to you both for your hard work.
