Wanda01_17_05.jpg

This was just a bit of fun with lines to lead you through an image. I think it is a fun picture.

The most difficult thing about posing for this image was holding the sheets just right so that they formed the lines that Bill wanted. I never did care much for the expression on My face in this one. As I recall though, I was anxious to get it done and over with so we get on to the fun of celebrating our daughter's birthday!

I remember that day I crawled out of bed, ran My fingers through My hair, threw on some make-up and wandered down to the coffee vendor first thing in the morning. (it was bad enough to be seen in public with My hair a mess, but I couldn't be seen with no make-up)(grin) I bought some coffee, cinnamon rolls and fresh fruit and delivered them to Brandy's room so that she could have breakfast in bed. After that I had planned to jump in the shower and get fixed up, but NOooooo. . . .Bill wanted Me to pose "right now while the light is good!" (cringing) So there I am, suffering from a "bed-head" hair-do and just wanting to hurry up and get the shot done and over with. (laffin) No Wonder the look on My face is so awful! It's amazing how My moods could never really be hidden from the camera.

OMG.. this is very very cool! Excellent idea.. very creative.. love the look of the folds running from the width of the bed at the bottom to Wanda as a perspective point over to the right of the frame. Lighting is great.

We took this photo in a small hotel room at the Excalibur Hotel Casino in Las Vegas. Most of the light was being reflected through the window off an adjacent building. There was a lamp on the night stand just to Wanda's left. I also used the on camera fill flash, which was blocked on the lower half with a small white card.

What is your lighting scheme on this? Is this all ambient light or some kind of studio lighting? This is a wonderful and compelling picture. The shadows from the linen do draw you to Wanda. Her skin tone against the linens make for an interesting contrast.

Well I see this was the shot that you did when we came over and all the blankets off this bed were on the floor. Cool shot!

I absolutely love this shot. The lines and shadows in the sheet draw your eyes straight to Wanda to gaze at her beauty before you notice the empty spot next to her and realize that's a good spot for me. ( I mean you Bill ) It wouldn't take me to long to drop the camera and fill in the empty space. Jim
