Just a quickie portrait tonight after a long work day. We have 14 or 15 inches of new snow in the yard. And yes, I shoveled today ;^) Maybe we can build that snowman tomorrow.

The hardest part of the PAD project was always coming up with a different pose or concept. I really wasn't in the mood to put up with posing for some artsy-fartsy image but I knew I had to continue to fulfill My obligation. So, we went for just a basic headshot. The hair and "pose" I had recently seen on the cover of a music CD. I wondered if anyone out there would notice. (laffin) Guess that artist isn't real popular in the music world. Perhaps she should stick to acting. Anyone know who I am refering to? (grin)

I love everything about it; except for the double catch lights. They seem way too strong. I believe it distracts from an otherwise beautiful model.

Oh, my Gawd! What a beautiful image! My only (and its VERY slight) criticism would be that she does not appear to be looking directly into the lens. Then again ...who really gives a damn?! Yeehawww! One of your very, very best.

Ok I know this is a little late but I've been out of town for a few days.

Wanda I think you've out done yourself on this one girl your eyes are even lovlier then ever, the hair is great and your skin has never looked so silky! Hmmmm that lip thing you got going on there where did that come from? LOL

Please someone call Hollywood and tell them to cancel the show "Americas Next Top Model" we here at pbase.com have already find her and her name is Wanda. Oh make sure ya'll tell them she already has a photographer husband that knows how to catch her in just the right light.

Great skin tones, and I love your hair like this Wanda, just different, but it looks great!

Very nice image!
I like the pose and lighting a lot!

From my comment below, I meant to say Wanda's tug on her lip (by her finger ever so slightly) not "tub" Duh, I'm a goober.

Darn, I hadn't noticed or even thought about it...guess I better build a new custom brush for 2005.

Bill, I agree with the others, this is a very good shot and pose. Wanda looks great, especially her eyes (eye, I guess, in this case)and mouth. The focus is perfect and it is a different, and very nice, pose by Wanda. You should both be very pleased with this one.

This isn't a comment on the picture per se, which is wonderful by the way, but the fact that you haven't changed your copyright to 2005 yet. I thought I would just mention it, in case you haven't noticed.

I agree with Gary. There's something slightly different about Wanda's hair that is very appealing. Not that she's not always lovely. But this one is especially so. Nice job, Bill and Wanda.

This hair style really does it for me...

Definitely one of your best, love it

Wow! This is a completely new pose/expression. I agree with the Veronica Lake suggestion -- or Kim Bassinger. I think this is probably my favorite of *all* the Wanda wonder works. Did you shoot this with the same light setup you illustrated a while back?

Just beautiful!
Both, Wanda and photo.
Congrats.

She does look incredibly lovely in this; her complexion is amazing. For me, the pose adds to it in one sense – very provocative – and takes away in another – very stereotypical. I would love to see more of the ‘semi-candid’ shots you’ve done, even though the elaborate set-ups are great too, and have a lot of humour.

Sometimes those quick shots do not appear as staged. This one is very appealing, due to Wanda's expression. Very nice pose. The bare skin of her shoulder I think make this picture very sensual.

Beautiful...
With a hint of Veronica Lake...
Sweet....Such a Lady...

Wanda doing the tub on her lip really adds something to this one. Very cool.
Howard Sandler07-Jan-2005 05:08
Nicely composed and great expression from Wanda.

I like this one more than most. Extremely excellent!
