Wanda01_05_05.jpg

I know we have missed a few "Wanda's Weird Wacky Wednesday" photos. Well, we missed one today too. We'll get back to it next week, I promise.

It has been snowing all day, putting down about eight inches of light and fluffy powder. We've finished shoveling the walks and now it is on to the driveway. We planned to take a photo of Wanda building a snowman; but, the snow was dry and it wouldn't pack or hold together. Utah does have the "Greatest Snow On Earth". The powder up in the mountains at the ski resorts will be waist deep and FANTASTIC!

This image says it all in a glance, , , ,"oh My aching back!" I have always been too stubborn to use a snow blower, I like the exercise of shoveling snow "the old fashioned way". But as I get older, I just might have to rethink things.

Jeannie made a comment about My lovely boots. . .. (laffin). . the boots were a gift from My mother in law, many years ago. I have got a ton of use out of them. They are warm and waterproof. I have also been known to use them during the winter months out in the barn while shoveling stalls. That's what accounts for the slight staining on the otherwise pure white boots! (grin)

I really like this shot a lot. I like the way the subtle color of Wanda and her clothing pops her image out from the basic b&w of her surroundings. Another excellent shot, Bill. I learn something about photography every time I visit this site.

Ahem, ... I don't even OWN a snow shovel! LOL! Poor Baby! This is why I moved to Florida! If God had wanted me to live in snow, He would have given me a furry hairy body! Oh, ... wait, ... He DID give me a furry hairy body! Sheeesh!

Hmmm? Or maybe Wanda will gain sympathy from Bill and receive a well deserved back rub... :-D

The title for this photo is "oh My aching back!" I suppose a little exercise will do Me good though.
