Wanda01_01_05.jpg

This isn't really all that great of a photo to start off 2005. That doesn't matter because it is an important photo. Wanda will start working out, next week, to get in shape to make the hike to the top of her mountain this summer. Maybe it is time for me to get in shape to make the hike, too.

ah Yes! The call of the mountain.! It looks down at Me and taunts Me everyday. When I look up at it in the wintertime when it is all covered in that blanket of snow, I can't help but wonder how freezing-assed cold it must be up there on the very tippy-top! Last September when I made it to the very top I about froze My butt off! I have been getting My knees and ankles use to the abuse of this trail for the past few months now and I am almost ready to attempt the hike. The goal is to hike to the very top on July 31st. There is still just one patch of snow blocking My way, but with this 100 degree heat I am sure it will be gone before I attempt the hike!

I always enjoyed posing for pictures where I wasn't looking at the camera. They were always easy cuz I didn't have to worry about blinking at the wrong time or smiling wrong.

Sure Wes, I'd love to hike Timp with you again! Just let Me know when. I'll go with you on as many waterfall hikes as possible.

Better start now Bill, we are not getting any younger!
I've been working out for about 3 months now and lost 20 pounds, but rats, I gained 4 back over the Holidays.

Good luck with the hike Wanda

Best wishes to both of you on this endeavor...

P.S. When I saw the thumbnail of today's picture It looked like Wanda was under the blankets with a champagne hangover from yesterday's PAD.

After looking at your New Year picture I think I know which one of you needs to get in shape most :-)
Could be a new project 'Bill's Beat The Bulge' Wanda could take the pictures

Wanda are you going to hike Timp again with me this year? In order for me to do my Waterfall project I have to hike it, since there are like 6 waterfalls up there I have to shoot.

I'm with ya Bill.
Sometimes, things just have to change. I've been way too heavy for way too long.

Well foo. I stood on the scales this morning for the first time since Thanksgiving morning, … and wished I hadn’t. Cry “Havoc!” and let loose the dogs of war! The battle of the bulge is on! It’s a grind to take it off, but it slips back on like a comfortable old slipper! By God I’ve done it before, and I’m going to do it again! There’s no way on earth I can live on a diet for the rest of my life, … but I can do it for today! One day at a time! Florida doesn’t have any mountains, … but we have beaches! When I take my shirt off this summer I want the sweet lil’ gals to say, “Ooohh! Look at him!” not “Good God! Look at THAT!” LOL!

Bill, your proposition to get in shape is a good thing. Please let me know, if you will decide to make it real: it could be that I will follow your way.. with 30+ Kg over I *really* need a friend that encourages me :-)

I hope you & Wanda will have a great 2005.

Ciao,
Corrado
