Wanda12_25_04.jpg

Every so often a snap shot captures a great moment. This one of my girls and their singing puppets was one of those photos. We had a great Christmas day. I hope you all did too.

We spent the afternoon at Brandy and Ryan's new home. Brandy is a fantastic hostess. She prepared an orange glazed roast goose with all the trimmings. She is a great cook and dinner was fantastic. As always she set a wonderful table http://www.pbase.com/image/37877491

This was a fun picture to pose for. We were just having fun and acting like Goofs with our new musical puppets. They were so much fun! They have 3 different songs programmed in them and you have to open and close their mouths at just the right rythm to actually recognize the tune. When I found these while out shopping one day I was just like a little kid, I had to try each one! I would laugh and giggle and then grab another one to see what songs it played. I ended up buying 7 of them! (grin) Lots of fun memories with this image and it makes it to My list of favorites from the year. (s)

Lisa, thank you for your kind words I'm thankful daily for my loving family and how we live. I agree that guest last long comment in the main gallery revealed so much about "guest".

When "guest" said, "there are far better photographers on this site that are not getting any attention because most of you are too busy waiting for the day that bates needs attention," it made me think he is a another PBase photographer that may not be getting the attention he feels he deserves. How in the world he comes to the conclusion that is my fault is beyond me. His comment saying, "this goes back to master bates deleting posts because they didn't praise him," again shows just how mistaken he is. I never have deleted negative comments on my photography. I did delete his crude comments and most seem to wish I would continue to delete his crude comments.

I guess it just comes down to the fact that he doesn't get any attention on his PBase gallery and he doesn't get any attention in his real life. He most be one of those people no one ever notices or pays any attention to in their day to day lives. So, to get attention he needed to come here and be crude and stupid. So I again would ask everyone to ignore "guest" here. Talking about him among yourselves is fine. Replying directly to him is something I would ask people not to do. There is no reason to give him any more attention than he deserves...I want it to be like he is invisible. To me he is.

Garrett, we decided to let "guest" comments stay a while ago just to let the world know what an idiot he can be. The comments don't bother us at all.

I do wish that others would not reply to him. If people want to talk about his comments and comment to each other that is fine with me. But, directly replying or attacking guest I think shouldn't be done. I really wish others would just ignore the silly "guest" comments like we ignore them.

Bill, is there any way that you can filter out disgusting little jabs like Guest's? I mean, it is important for you to accept technical suggestions, but pathetic little comments like his help no one, certainly not you or your lovely wife's self-esteem. Just wondering! (Personally, I think he is compensating for some lack!! hehehe)

Guest, that last comment makes me think you are very jealous. Wm. Bates is very blessed to have a loving family, wealth, and real talent. All you have is a shitty personality, bitterness and the being too much a coward to state who you really are here on Pbase.

Looks like the Bates had a total blast! (*Hey guest! I think I hear mommy yelling for you to take the present wrapping to the dumpster! Yeah, you can play with the playstation Santa brought you afterwards!)

It appears that the Christmas, … err, … Chrismoose Day joy and delight was in full force for all of Wanda and Bill’s family! Brandy, your orange glazed roast goose meal sounds wonderful and your table setting is gorgeous! If you and Ryan ever head down here to Florida, my wife and I are inviting you to dinner! Ummm, … you’ll do the cooking and the table decorations of course! Happy New Year to the Bates clan and to all his guests, (yes, even the “guest”, … he *is* amusing isn’t he?) from Gerie & John, … may it be joy filled, prosperous and most of all, full of love.

Looks like a great time, but no moose puppet? That's OK looks like fun anyway. Glad you all had a great time. Jim
Brandy 26-Dec-2004 06:18
Well, I suppose I will give this picture approval. We were all having a good time with those puppets. Thanks for coming over. It was a great christmas. I had fun preparing everything. I hate to say it, but I may have to do it again.
