Wanda12_18_04a.jpg

Tonight we were just trying for something that might work as an advertising photo.

For sure this is just the thing for a cold winters eve'.

Here is an outtake that proves you shouldn't allow the model to test the product http://www.pbase.com/slowpokebill/image/37640166

It was nice to be back inside to pose for this image. I know Bill hated being stuck in the studio for most of the winter months, but I just hated being out in the cold! The PAD project was a great excuse to dig old outfits out of the closet and see if they still fit. (laffin) This old number is 20 years old! I use to wear it back when we were young and going out dancing every week.

The other thing I remember about this image was after we had posted it, a very thoughtful viewer gave Bill a bottle of Bowmore as a gift of appreciation for all his efforts on the project.

Lovely photo, it would make me buy Bowmore and I don't drink.

Here is a link that shows my setup. It isn't anything to fancy or sophisticatedhttp://www.pbase.com/slowpokebill/image/31989280

In this photo the both the key light(Canon 550EX speedlight flash) and fill(550EX flash) were shot through the 60" umbrellas. The Hair light(420EX flash)was on a boom stand and reflected with a partially closed 45" umbrella.

Hello Bill,
How about a picture of the morning after an evening drinking Bowmore :)
Thanks for this pics, I am learning a lot about lighting a posing from looking at your gallery.
Happy Holidays,
John

FIRST OF ALL , I LOVE YOUR WORK . THE COLORS ARE SO VIBRANT.YOUR PHOTOS LOOK LIKE "CHROMES" . MY QUESTION IS WHAT KIND OF FLASH DO YOU USE?ESPECIALLY IN IMAGE37639341?

Advertising photo? Absolutely. I think with your photography skills and Wanda's great modeling you guys could sell ice to an eskimo.

Not that I need too much persuading to buy Bowmore in any case - but this would certainly swing it for me!
