On the third day of our little road trip we visited the mission at San Juan Capistrano. We spent a couple of hours enjoying the gardens and buildings at the old mission. Then we headed north along the Southern California coast.

so I finally get around to answering your question! (laffin) NO, we didn't see the swallows, but it was fun to explore the place. There weren't a ton of people around, but enough to still make Me feel uncomfortable in front of the camera. I wonder if I'll ever get over that?

This is great! A beautiful line and lighting and it looks so relaxed. I know it's a travel shot, but I think it would look better with the whole portico cropped off and just lovely Wanda and the wall left.
