"Tears" was one of the more fun and challenging pictures to capture. First you need to get the pose and lights just the way you want them. Then the model needs to feel the right emotion. Then you need a tear or two. Sometimes we like a challenge. As usual, Wanda came through like a pro; so, we could create the image.

I never really cared for this image. I would much rather see Myself as happy than sad. We did learn from this shoot that tears run fast and you have to be quick on the trigger if you are going to capture them! Wanda

For those inquiring minds who want to know. The expression for this picture was easy to achieve. I just thought about something sad, like when My mom passed away or when My kitty was missing and I thought he had met his demise. Getting the tears to flow was not so easy becaus we spend most of our adult life holding back tears rather than shedding them. So we started off by cheating and using fake tears, however, in the end, I managed to muster up some real tears. The image Bill captured shows one fake tear, the one streaming down My cheek. However the other tear forming at the lashline is real. If you look closely, you can see more tears welling up in both eyes. I prefer images of Me when I am happy and smiling, but I thought tossing in one picture that accurately reflects those not so happy moments in My life would be appropriate for Bill's project.

Very well done, Bill. Was the emotion real or was it prior to fry the onions for the steak. Wanda had the right expression for this emotive shot anyway.

I guess I happened to check your site right when Bill uploaded the picture and hadn't typed in a caption yet. Boy, it really got me. I'm so glad it's not real. Wanda you really pulled it off. I've never been able to fake tears. If you're willing to share your thougts, how did you do it? Did you concentrate on something very sad in your life or is a eye dropper of water carefully applied. Whatever it is you guys did a really good job, but personally I prefer to see Wanda happy. Jim
