Humahuaca, Jujuy

Monumento a la Independencia. (Monument to freedom). This place, the whole Quebrada de-Humahuaca was witness of many of our Independence wars..
We had no professional army.. only those who came from Buenos Aires, summed to the brave aborigines and criollos,
who had no training to fight but had indeed a desperate will of freedom.
