Mollie was following me around as I was filling the bird feeders. I sat her in the little green chair for a very quick photo. She is full of spunk and is adjusting well to her new home.
Miss Mollie is a rescue pug. She is about 2 years old, weighs only 12.5 pounds and was rescued from a puppy mill by DFW Pug Rescue.
They said she spent her life in a cage and was used for breeding. The cages were stacked one on top of another and excrement from one dog would fall down on the next.
She is a sweet girl and has been learning about up and down stairs, treats, toys, running, doing "business" outside, loving and trusting. She is still afraid of men and loud noises.
She and our other fawn pug, Barnum, are becoming good friends.
For those who do not know... we lost our other little black pug, Ms. Bailey Bentwhiskers nearly three months ago.
She had a cardiac arrest while having her nails clipped at the vet's and they were unable to revive her. She was only six years old and had been in excellent health.
We are thankful to have Miss Mollie Sue as a part of our life and hope to give her many happy years to romp and play.
