"Four"

These are my four favorite food magazines. I have collected them for many years, but it was just announced that the icon of food magazines... Gourmet... will cease publication after the November 2009 issue. It will be like losing an old friend.

Save your old copies!! I suppose Gourmet has fallen a victim of the bad economy... replaced by Casseroles on a Budget magazine. Too bad. Beautiful photograph. Well done.

Great idea and presentation. The announcement made me sad too. It is not that I prepare gourmet food daily, but what a wonderful resource when you wanted to put on a spread. ;-)

I´m so sorry for that Gourmet will be no more, as you know I had an article written about me in that magazine, which made me very proud. Times to change and younger women want more the fast & easy style of cooking represented by Bon appetit! Salute to style and expertise represented by Gourmet Magazine! Cheers, Fay!
