Great shot. That is the most unusual piper that I have ever seen. The Celts used to paint themselves blue before battle and he is working on that "blue look".

The Pipes were classed as a weapon of war, he looks like a man on a mission! ;-)
Great shot. :-)

Nice candid. Reminds me of the year before last I went to a Scottish festival and they had a youthful band with pipers, they started out suttle then blew the roof off the place as well as our ears drums.

I'm guessing a busker is a bagpipe player. Well, he's got a kilt. :) He's definitely a punk bagpiper. Great candid and superb detail. Love his ink. And despite the hair style, he's a good looking fella.

Looks like a hard rocking bag player. Great shot.

He must be good to get a 10! A very imposing character though, I'd want to throw my money in from a distance!
Guest 17-Apr-2006 00:32
oh my....kinda like brave heart meets a heavy metal band?! :)

Gosh that tatooist did well out of him! Great candid Sheila - a "once in a lifetimer" shot I should think! V

I bet he doesn't do that when there's a Freemantle Docker blowing...:>O... I do hope he's a tourist giving a farewell concert !

Terrific image Sheila. He has the works, spiked hair, tattoos, and something sticking out of his lower lip. Well done.

It`s not easy to take the tension of the audience - this guy did it with success and you too Sheila! Excellent street shot of Fremantle (from there goes the fairy to rottnest island?!) :o)
