Dec 1. Rottnest Island daisy

Rottnest daisy (Trachymene coerulea), is actually a member of the carrot family, although it resembles a true daisy in its form.
The Rottnest daisy is only found in the wild in Western Australia, although it is now grown througout the world as an ornamental garden plant.

Have been to rottnest island. Never saw this beautiful floewers. I was always looking at the litte brown animals (quokas ? or so)!!!

it is like a fluff of flower. love the dof.
i didn't get a chance to go rottnest island when i was in wa. any picture of that cute animal renowned in the island (something like a wallaby but smaller??)
