Self reflection... No one knows you better than you, unless you don’t even know yourself... ;-) Another great thought and tribute.

You are doing here, Kal, what I tried to do in my own street reflection shot athttp://www.pbase.com/image/31311559 You create an incongruity by turning the man back upon himself, just as I did with that woman passing out the handbills to people who had no interest in them. I doubled her frustration, and you doubled the sense of loneliness and introspection that your subject expresses. Your black and white image abstracts both the man and the scene, intensifying the thought-provoking contrasts that both Jenene and Emily Grace so eloquently point out here.

The thing is... they seem like two different people - ones that have discovered their paralell universe.. excellent, as always, Kal..

Concious thought vs unconcious thought? One a little fuzzy, the other clear and concise - oh, but which is which? Great image once again, Kal.

Oh now that is really cool. Thought it was a funky composite from the thumb. Definitely one for Volume 2

i like how either side of the picture could be the 'reality'...the right hand side feeling confused and unclear and looking for clarity, or the left hand side watching an alter-ego gradually shudder into darkness and confusion.

The way you got him looking sideways is genial. Stunning image Kal. Two worlds going into one. Love the figure lurking round the bend. Adds a touch of mystery. And thank you so much for the tribute. Ive been very down lately and this has cheered me up:-). Thanks my friend Ade

The Yin and the Yang, I suppose, forces which oppose and repel but eventually embrace each other. The symmetry is astounding. Bravo!!!
