"The Game" is never ending, isn't it Kal?
I love the man's gesture. You're so good at capturing these kind of shots!!

Looool at the photographic "battle" between you and Adal :D
I think no one got the story right so far though :) After all the guy is actually at the door of an adjoining shop and no clues to what it being sold there... hummm am I seeing flowers in the background?? Maybe it's a flower shop and he just keeping his buddy company and it's actually the other one that is buying some flowers for his girlfriend on account of last night's quarrel, looooooooool

Looking to see if he's made his fortune on the stock market !!

He's there to keep watch and ensure the game is fairly played (or spent) ;P Well I'm only glad that I don't fall into such bag shopping game, my lucky man :-)

The Guardian on the Threshold. :-)

The battle of the sexes begins and all because of a bag.

Hah, great! You have more images like these, with the material and the human element separated by, in this case, stone.

I promise you a ping :-)

I agree with jude as well. I think most men have been in this position at one time or another and some women as well when their significant other is shopping or doing whatever and they need to kill some time.

I go with Jude on this one, Kal. I have been in his spot many times myself. Only instead of reading a magazine while Liz shops for still another leather bag, I am there in that doorway looking down into my the viewfinder of my camera, shopping for still another decisive moment!

Love this composition! Great story telling image.

It reminded me of this image of yours,http://www.pbase.com/shangheye/image/71573300, in a different setting of course, using the time waiting differently as well. We're all waiting for our next move, aren't we?

love Jude's "projection" about his wife... ;-))

I have a feeling he's just killing time - a bit bored - while his wife shops for bags, bags, and more bags.
Looking forward to the next gambit...
Guest 23-Jan-2007 13:31
does he check that no one enters the game or rather that no one gets out of it ?
Adalberto Tiburzi23-Jan-2007 12:25
Wow, his pose and his shoulder against the door is quite menacing...
Very expressive Kal, thank you!
Adal
PS
I must prepare something for tomorrow, THIS game is too fun ;-))
