It reminds me of a game of hide and seek that kids play.

No problem with honesty Jeroen, the B&W series is meant to have a darker side as Duncan noted, and some may like it and some may not. There are more to come that may be uncomfortable, but this is purely experimental. The true images of how I see Freyha and Noah are in the portraits gallery. This is just playing with light. I would never hold anyting you say against you..you should know that ;-) K

I hope you won't hold it against me, but my VERY humble opinion is that this is not exactly a tribute to your son, and I'm truly sorry to say that I think this image kind of degrades the gallery. Just being honest Kal, you're my favorite, that's why I thought I had to say it.

This is really fantastic how the shadow falls on child's eyes. This makes for a strong emotional picture.

This has a very dark, at a loss for words so sorry for the lack of wit shown in my response, feel to it. I do like this image a lot. The colour works very well but the B&W really adds to the mystery without losing clarity in the subject. I think that makes sense.

Nice, but I prefer #4 from the series. Usually, I like b&w, but the color versions appeal more to me. I also am *slightly* bothered by the way the light appears to slice the subject in half. However, I must admit that had I not seen the other great photos in the series, this would receive a huge thumbs-up. It's just that the others set what I believe is even a higher standard. Very great work!!

Also thanks to you for placing me in with such fine company. Not worthy, but thankful.

Thanks so much Kal. I do love your series. The photo you linked to is one that I am so glad to have. I hope you have more. Kind regards!
